About Our Camps

Rams One-day ID Camps are a great opportunity for incoming rising freshmen through seniors to be seen by URI women’s soccer staff and experience a Division I training atmosphere firsthand. Each camp includes advanced technical sessions designed to evaluate each player’s skill and athleticism, as well as small-sided games to test those skills under pressure. The session will finish with a full-sided game in which players can showcase their tactical awareness.

Junior Rams and Mini Rams Day Camps provide the opportunity for young players to learn under the careful guidance of the URI women’s soccer staff. Each day of camp will cover a different foundational aspect of the game: dribbling, passing, one-to-one defending, and scoring. All campers will be guided by a University of Rhode Island women’s soccer player.

All campers check in at 9 a.m. each day. Junior Rams (ages 9-14) finish at 3 p.m. with a lunch break from 12-1 p.m., while Mini Rams (ages 6-9) finish at noon with two snack breaks in the morning. Please see our FAQ page for more information.

Our Rams Elite ID Camp is designed for players who are planning to play high level collegiate soccer and want the full Division I experience. It includes technical sessions, small- and full-sided games, strength and conditioning and classroom sessions, meals in the dining hall, an overnight stay in the dormitories, and an optional campus tour. The second day of camp will conclude with a competitive 7v7 tournament.
